Our hearts are heavy as we come together to honor and remember the life of Keyshawn Jenkins, affectionately known as “Junior,” whose passing on April 3, 2026, has left a deep void in the hearts of many.
Keyshawn, a junior majoring in Sports Management at Voorhees University, was a valued member of the university community and a young man with a bright future ahead of him. Though he carried himself with a quiet demeanor, his presence was powerful and deeply felt by those around him. He did not need to be the loudest in the room to make an impact—his kindness, humility, and genuine spirit spoke volumes.
To his peers, professors, and staff at Voorhees University, Keyshawn was more than a student—he was family. His dedication to his studies and his passion for sports management reflected a young man determined to build a meaningful path for himself. His loss is felt deeply across campus, where his memory will continue to live on in the lives he touched.
The Allendale County School District community also mourns alongside his loved ones, remembering Keyshawn as someone who left a lasting impression long before his college years. He was a young man who carried himself with respect, compassion, and quiet strength—qualities that endeared him to many and will never be forgotten.
